To help celebrate the 40th anniversary of Sesame Street, First Lady Michelle Obama appeared on today’s show. Children are one of Mrs. Obama’s top priorities, and today she helped children understand the importance of eating healthy. Here’s the video for your enjoyment!

The First Lady has made children one of her top priorities during her time in the White House, so it should come as no surprise that she is slated to appear on Sesame Street to promote gardening and healthy eating. In fact, Michelle is headlining the opening show of Sesame Street’s 40th season on November 10th. I think it’s quite an honor and shows just how loved the First Lady is.
Unsurprisingly, the First Lady looks beautiful in this photo from the set. Even when she’s “dressed down,” the First Lady looks good.
