Last week the First Lady presented Maya Angelou with a lifetime achievement award at the BET Honors awards ceremony. Ms. Angelou, of course, is a world renowned author and poet.
For the occasion the First Lady chose a floor length red gown by designer J. Mendell. She looked stunning, if I do say so myself. I think red might be my favorite color on the First Lady.
The ceremony will air on BET at 9 PM Eastern/8 PM Central on February 13.
