U.S. President Obama attends the 2009 Kennedy Center Honors in Washington

Last night First Lady Michelle Obama attended the Kennedy Center Honors program. The Kennedy Center Honors are given for lifetime achievement in the arts. This years honorees are Mel Brooks, Dave Brubeck, Grace Bumbry, Robert De Nero and Bruce Springsteen.

Mrs. Obama looked absolutely stunning in a strapless, pleated purple dress. She accessorized it with a very intricate necklace and, as she often wears, a bangle bracelet. For now this is the best picture that I have from the event, but I hope to have more soon!

IOC 2016 Olympic Venue Announcement - Day One

As head of the US delegation to the International Olympic Committee, the First Lady attended the opening ceremony of the 121st International Olympic Committee (IOC) Session. For the occasion the First Lady decided on a sleeveless golden dress with a full, pleated skirt. It’s time for Mrs. Obama to show off those fabled arms! Accessorizing the First Lady are gold hoop earrings, a flower brooch pin, and gold bangles.
