As we reported on Monday, First Lady Michelle Obama did a Twitter Town Hall about her Let's Move! initiative. What's impressive is is just how sharp the First Lady looks given that her plans were to sit behind a computer screen and use Twitter. Gotta love Michelle!

Behind the Scenes of First Lady Michelle Obama’s Let’s Move! Fireside Chat:

As part of her Let's Move! third anniversary tour, First Lady Michelle Obama hosted a fireside chat with Kelly Ripa about the importance of kids' health. You can watch the event or just check out some of the pictures. A couple of notable points that the First Lady made were:

  • Eating dinner together as a family helps keep kids healthy.
  • "We should be talking in terms of health, not how people look."
  • We have to think long-term. Change won't happen overnight. "If they start these healthy habits now, we're looking at what kind of kids they're going to be when they're headed to college."
