First Lady Michelle is leading the US delegation to the 2012 Olympics. She's encouraging Americans to get active and involved in their own communities by participating in Olympic-inspired meetups to promote health and exercise.

First Lady Michelle wore a cream cap-sleeved dress to address the African Methodist Episcopal (AME) church's General Conference. The AME Church is the oldest African American denomination. It was begun near the end of the 18th Century as a protest against segregation in churches and has retained its identity as a bulwark against racism.
The First Lady spoke about this history to encourage Americans to look toward the future and make our nation and neighborhoods better places to live. Click here to read the First Lady's remarks.
