As part of her Let's Move! third anniversary tour, First Lady Michelle Obama hosted a fireside chat with Kelly Ripa about the importance of kids' health. You can watch the event or just check out some of the pictures. A couple of notable points that the First Lady made were:
- Eating dinner together as a family helps keep kids healthy.
- "We should be talking in terms of health, not how people look."
- We have to think long-term. Change won't happen overnight. "If they start these healthy habits now, we're looking at what kind of kids they're going to be when they're headed to college."
