When the President and First Lady traveled to England earlier this year, they hosted a dinner at Winfield House–the U.S. Ambassador to England's official residence–in honor of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II of England. They were also the honored guests at a State Banquet put on by the Queen.

First Lady Michelle looked stunning at the Winfield House event, wearing a black Ralph Lauren evening gown. It was an off-the-shoulder number with a satin bodice and crepe skirt. In fact, this dress was voted as readers' second favorite of the First Lady's evening gowns in our recent poll.

Obama

My apologies for only getting these images to you now.  I was attending a conference late last week and am visiting family for the holidays, so I haven’t had the time to keep as up to date with this blog as I would like.

This is the first in a series of posts on the First Lady’s trip to Oslo, Norway.  As you likely already know, President Obama was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize a few months ago.  Consequently, the President and First Lady traveled to Oslo, Norway to participate in the Nobel festivities.

Here we see the President and First Lady leaving the White House for Andrews Air Force Base.  The First Lady is looking good in her black peacoat and red scarf.  Of course, as good as they look, neither of them look too happy.  I’m not sure what the story is here…

The White House often releases photos long after an event has actually taken place, so here are a couple of the First Lady from the 9/11 ceremony at the Pentagon.  While the First Lady looks stunning as usual, it seems inappropriate to go into detail on her attire for such an event.
