First Lady Michelle Obama made an edgy wardrobe choice for an event to encourage students to take advantage of federal student aid. Look closely at her jacket, and you'll notice the white trim looks as if it was painted on with a paintbrush. I don't know what anyone else things, but I, for one, appreciate the First Lady's style choice.

First Lady Michelle Obama appeared on the Dr. Oz show on Thursday with Secretary of Education Arne Duncan to announce a major new initiative to promote healthy lifestyles among children called Let's Move! Active Schools. The goal is to get schoolchildren to be physically active for at least 60 minutes total before, during, and after school.

For the appearance the First Lady chose a black and white jacket and a black and purple skirt, both with geometric patterns.  First Lady Michelle certainly is on the cutting edge of fashion!
