The First Lady looked absolutely magnificent in her blue Carolina Herrera dress at the first State Dinner of the Obamas' second term. And our feature image shows just how the First Couple feel about one another as President Barack helps First Lady Michelle off stage.

Last night First Lady Michelle Obama hosted French President Francois Hollande for a State Dinner, the first of President Obama's second term. For the occasion she chose a blue Carolina Herrera evening gown with a full skirt and black lace overlay top.

First Lady Michelle Obama made an edgy wardrobe choice for an event to encourage students to take advantage of federal student aid. Look closely at her jacket, and you'll notice the white trim looks as if it was painted on with a paintbrush. I don't know what anyone else things, but I, for one, appreciate the First Lady's style choice.

The First Family attends the Christmas in Washington fundraiser for the Children's National Medical Center each year. This past year the First Lady wore a stunning silver J. Mendel jacket. And of course, Sasha and Malia look lovely.

First Lady Michelle looks absolutely regal in purple and pearls for her interview with Times of London.

People Magazine does an annual piece on the Obamas. Great work by Stewart Shining on the photos. Michelle looks great in a sleeveless blue, black and silver dress with what I believe are metallic silver pumps.

This adorable photo of the President and First Lady was attached to the White House's Happy New Year tweet.  The First Couple seems as affectionate as ever, and Michelle looks stunning in her deep red holiday dress.

UPDATE: Just found out that this photo of the First Couple was actually taken last January as Barack sung "Happy Birthday" to Michelle.

The President sings 'Happy Birthday' to the First Lady after greeting inaugural brunch guests in the Blue Room of the White House. Of course, the First Lady's new hairstyle attracted a lot of attention.
